Jennifer Lawrence | AGE 30 | $160 Million
Jennifer Lawrence acted in a couple of local theater productions as a child. She had her first role in a church play that was adapted from the Book of Jonah. At age 14, she was spotted by an agent while on a family vacation. Then, several talent scouts lauded her acting skills during her first audition. Lawrence decided to drop out of school at 14 to pursue a film career.
Lawrence followed up with minor roles on television. Her big break came following her performance in Winter’s Bone, for which she was nominated for an Oscar. She also landed the role of Mystique in the 2011 flick X-Men: First Class. From there, she won her most significant acting credit to date as Katniss Everdeen in the fan-favorite Hunger Games trilogy. She also won the Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance on Silver Linings Playbook.
