Raised in a family with artistic tendencies, Rebecca Romjin became a self-proclaimed “drama geek” in her early teens. After graduating high school, she attended Santa Cruz’s University of California to pursue a music degree. However, her priorities quickly changed as she became more involved in the fashion scene. Romjin eventually moved to Paris to become a model, working with a wide range of fashion brands and campaigns.

By the late ’90s, Romjin made her first move towards acting when she won the role of Mystique in the X-Men films. These movies were incredibly successful, and she advanced her acting career with a leading role in the 2002 Femme Fatale. In the subsequent years, she starred in many other movies like The Punisher, Rollerball, and Godsend. The 48-year-old star is also an accomplished voice actress and a musician outside of these achievements.
