Nia Vardalos | Ilaria

Antonia Eugenia Vardalos, or simply known as Nia Vardalos, is a Greek-Canadian actress, director, screenwriter, and producer. The beauty started her career in 1996 and got her first major success in 2002 with her film My Big Fat Greek Wedding, a project she both wrote and starred in.

For some time, the actress encountered some hurdles with starting a family. However, Vardalos has shown that she is not a quitter but a fighter! Time and time again, she put her investments in different options. At one point, the star turned to IVF, where she underwent 13 cycles of the treatment but still failed. Admirably, the actress didn’t stop trying and ultimately turned into adoption, where she met the little ball of sunshine, Ilaria Gomez. At the time, Ilaria was still three, and now she is around ten years old, and it looks like they’ve been having a blast together.
