Terri Garr | Molly

Teri Garr is an American actress best known for credit her role as Dustin Hoffman’s neurotic girlfriend in the 1982 film Tootsie. Garr went on to be nominated for an Academy Award for the said part. However, it was the 1974 movie Young Frankenstein that marked the start of her film career. Mr. Mom, After Hours, and Let It Ride are some of her later films.

The actress grew up in the film industry. Her parents met on Broadway while working on the same production. Eddie Garr, her father, was an actor and comedian. Teri’s mother, Phyllis, was a model and a dancer before she raisedTeri and her two older brothers, Ed and Phil. Molly, Garr’s daughter, was adopted after her first marriage to construction contractor John O’Neil. In 1993, the pair married but sadly separated a few years later.
