Burt Reynolds | Quinton

Quinton Reynolds is a Hollywood camera assistant who is best known for being the adopted son of Burt Reynolds, the late legendary movie star. Burt’s second wife, Loni Anderson, made it official by publishing it in the Palm Beach Post. The couple had both wanted to start a family, but they were unable to do so.

Even though Quinton’s father was a phenomenon and one of the most famous and influential film stars in the world to a massive degree, he considered his son to be the most important thing in his life, and he was one of his proudest possessions. “He is my greatest achievement,” Burt was quoted as saying. “He’s a wonderful young man who now works in Hollywood as a camera assistant. He never asked for my support with his career; he accomplished all on his own, and I am so proud of him. I have a great deal of affection for him.”

Her parents didn’t keep her life hidden from her, and she met her birth mother, Dawn, when she was 18 years old. In 2016, the two also shot a candid reunion scene for EJNYC. “I still get a little anxious before I see my birth mother, and I think she does too because we’re both really emotional people,” Elisa admitted, adding that seeing her mother is always “surreal.” Elisa is now a huge fashion fanatic. Before signing with Wilhelmina Models as a professional model, she earned a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Brian Wilson | Daria & Delanie

Brian Douglas Wilson is widely given credit for inventing the California “surfin'” singing style of the Beach Boys, a rock and roll band from the 1960s. Wilson is regarded as a genius of the American popular music scene by his peers. He was primarily responsible for the Beach Boys’ numerous hit songs and records, both as a composer and producer. Wilson’s fading career took a turn for the better in 1988. The Beach Boys were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at a ceremony at New York City’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in January of that year at the third annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame awards dinner.

Later that year, the rehabilitated Brian Wilson began a solo career with the release of his self-titled album, which received overwhelmingly positive reviews. Wilson married Melinda Ledbetter in 1995, and they have three children together. Daria and Delanie were adopted shortly after. Wendy and Carnie, Wilson’s older daughters, went on to have successful careers as professional singers in their own right as former members of the Wilson Philips trio.

Mary-Louise acknowledges and credits that taking on the burden of becoming a single mother was daunting, to say the least, when she added to her family of two with the adoption of her daughter in 2007.

Edie Falco says that when it came time to make investments and start a family of her own, adoption seemed like the logical choice. Falco, 57, addressed her decision to adopt her two children, son Anderson and daughter Macy, as a single mother in an appearance on Anderson.

“At that time, I was single, and the idea to adopt came to me,” Falco told host Anderson Cooper, despite the fact that the former Sopranos actress has never contemplated adoption before. “I just knew it was time to start a family at some stage.” Falco’s two children are still young (she adopted Anderson in 2005 and Macy in 2008 when they were still infants), but that didn’t stop her from having open discussions with them about their family dynamics. When the time comes to have the conversation, Falco says she has no qualms about discussing how other families do things with her children.
